We’ve tapped a few designers to give us their thoughts on what colors are trending this fall. From more subtle moody hues to bold saturated colors, here are this season’s 7 most-try paint colors that will bring fall trends into your home and keep your space feeling fresh.

Lamp Room Gray

One of designers’ favorite paint colors is Lamp Room Gray by Farrow and Ball.

We love this shade of gray because it has a light green tint which adds to its warmth and sophistication. This color particularly pairs very well with jewel tones which we can’t get enough of during the fall months.

Eggplant

Eggplant is a surprising wall color that’s truly the unsung Autumn hue.

Consider using it in a special space that you want to treat like a jewel box and starting with this rich jewel tone sets the tone for a unique color palette.  Benjamin Moore’s Black Raspberry is a darker shade with blue undertones making it a calm yet vibrant option.  Pairing with a variety of purples to pinks and accents of spicey oranges creates a luxurious an sophisticated look while using unexpected colors.

Downpour Blue

Downpour Blue from Sherwinn Willims is a distinct color perfect for illustrating a decorative statement this fall.

Design firm LUCA CASA utilized this color to highlight a console table and artwork to create a truly bold look in a contemporary foyer. All shades of neutral greens

All shades of neutral greens from olive to khaki have an elegant feeling while evoking a bit of nature too.

Spaces feel serene and comfortable but don’t have to be boring as there’s definitely room for a bold touch when pairing accent colors.  Benjamin Moore’s Rolling Hills walks the line of neutral without going overly brown or yellow, allowing the walls to read a soft subtle green that’s ready for just about anything.

Rockwood Dark Red

Currently, we’re in love with shades of deep maroon like Rockwood Dark Red from Sherwin Williams.

Ichiro Blue

We love Farrow & Ball’s Ichiro Blue for a dramatic Fall paint color.

It’s the perfect moody backdrop to soak up once the crisp autumn air sets in.  With hints of a worn in blue, warm grey, and an earthy green – it is a versatile color making it ideal for any space.

Cue in some flannel, hints of brass, and some rich woods for an extra cozy experience.

Terracotta

Few colors truly connect to the earth in the way terracotta does.
